FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
"How do the cases fit?"
Our cases are measured, cut, and sewn specific to each model of macbook or ipad. They are made for a pretty snug fit, not sloppy or loose. Leather is a textile that changes over time and with wear/use, so the fit is likely to change over time as the leather stretches.
"What are the cases made from?"
All our products are cut from top-grain leather; we try to find the best quality from some of the top leather tanneries in the world. The liner material is a wool felt that we sewn to the inside of the case as a protector for the surface of the macbooks and ipads without scratching, scuffing, or smearing.
"How do I know which size to order?"
The sizes of any macbook or ipad are listed out on the product page by size and model (year) and we try to have each and every (modern) model available. If you need help at all or are second guessing your choice, please reach out and we’ll be happy to help! Also please review the images below to help you find the correct device model as you're shopping!
"Where do you get the leather?"
We source our leather from a couple tanneries in Leon Mexico which is often referred to as the ‘leather capital of the western hemisphere’ comparable to the style and methods of Italy.
"Do you have a store in Dallas?"Our shipping address is:
We do not have a brick and mortar retail store (yet). Our workshop and wholesale showroom is located in Dallas though we don't currently have open to the public hours.

"Custom Orders"
We do offer wholesale, private label, and custom orders. Please reach out to us for information on quantities, pricing, material availability and turnaround time based on current production schedule. Due to the individual nature of custom orders, and the permanence of leather work (cutting, sewing, embossing, custom colors, etc...) there are no returns or exchanges for custom orders and custom projects. Please email hey@missionleatherco.com to start a conversation about your next project!
