Field Notes | Original Kraft Notebook 3 pack
To make a long story short. When Aaron Draplin made the very first Field Notes by hand, as a holiday gift for friends, they looked pretty much like these notebooks. When Field Notes started their company they had only one product, a 3-Pack of Kraft Memo Books with graph paper inside. They'll always be at the heart of their product line.

- 02. Cover: French Dur-O-Tone 80#C "Packing Brown Wrap," with a thick, brute force, 1-color application of "Dachshund Nose" black soy-based Toyo ink.
- 03. Innards: Finch Paper Opaque Smooth 60#T "Bright White," with a fine, 1-color application of "Double Knee Duck Canvas" light brown soy-based Toyo ink.
- 04. Cover printed on a Mitsubishi Diamond Series 40" 6-color printing press.
- 05. Innards printed on a Miller TP104 28" × 40" 2-color printing press.
- 06. Bound by a Heidelberg ST350 "Stitchmaster" 8-pocket saddle stitcher, with appreciation to Samuel Slocum, George W. McGill, and William J. Brown, the "Founding Fathers of the Staple."
- 07. Corners precisely rounded to 3/9" (9.5mm) by a CRC round-corner machine.
- 08. Graph grid: 3/16" × 3/16" (4.7mm × 4.7mm). Ruled lines: 1/4" (6.4mm). Crisp plain paper. 48 Pages.
- 09. Memo book dimensions are 3-1/2" × 5-1/2" (89mm x 140mm).
- 10. FIELD NOTES uses only the Futura typeface family (Paul Renner, 1927) in its materials.

How long does it take to ship?
We're a small team of four, and everything is handmade with intention. Because of that, our standard production and shipping timeline is 4–6 weeks. While we always aim to ship sooner, we prioritize doing things the right way over rushing the process.Our production team works Monday through Thursday, and those are the days counted toward your order timeline.Occasionally, delays can happen due to supplier issues or extreme weather. For international orders, customs and carrier delays may also extend delivery times, these are outside of our control.Each piece is built to last and made with a level of care you can feel the moment it arrives. We promise it's worth it.
What is the return/exchange policy?
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
Due to their nature, customized items cannot be restocked. Therefore the following terms apply, so please choose wisely and ensure you have submitted the correct information on any custom request!
1. If there is a mistake/malfunction in the manufacturing process, the product can be returned/exchanged with Mission Leather Co being responsible.
2. If the customer ordered the incorrect size, color, or input the wrong initials, Mission Leather Co will not be able to refund/exchange the product.
Only standard inventory and regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately discontinued, limited edition, or sale items cannot be refunded.
